Let's have some fun!
Open a canvas, transparent background, 650x650 pixels.

Open RR_Paper2.
Fit to canvas.
Open RR_Paper4.
Hide this layer for now.
Highlight Paper2 layer.
Grab your magic wand.
Click inside the frame area of the paper.
Unhide and highlight Paper4.
Go up to your toolbar and click Select.
In the drop down menu
Click Inverse.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Go back to Select.
Click Deselect.
With Paper 4 layer still highlighted
Go to the little rectangle box
in the upper left corner in your layer palette
right under the word Layer.
It should say Normal.
Click the little down arrow next to it.
A menu pops up.
Now select Overlay.
Make sure your opacity is at 100%.
(Upper right corner of your layer palette
next to the rectangle box you just used.)

Highlight Paper2 layer.
Grab a soft edge eraser.
Erase around the flower frame.
Leave some of the stripes outside the flowers visable.
Use my taggie as a guide.

On to the elements:
Open RR_Frame1.
Position this slightly off center
leaving room to work with at the bottom of your canvas.

Open your tube.
Place on lower left corner of Frame1.

Open RR_Wolf3.
Resize to 65%.
Rotate Horizontally.
Place on top of your tube.
To make it look like he's standing over the tube:
Duplicate Wolf3.
Move this layer in the layer palette
behind your tube.
Now highlight the wolf layer on top of your tube.
Erase his back leg
and where the tube's knee is on his chest.

Now we're going to work behind Frame1
and on top of Paper4.
Open RR_BloodMoon.
Resize to 75%.
Open RR_Brad.
Resize to 50%.
Place Brad directly in center of BloodMoon.
Set your Opacity at 50%.
(Upper left corner of your layer palette.)

Open RR_DarkCloud.
Resize to 80%.

On top of Frame1 and behind the wolf,
I placed these elements:
RR_Timbur
Resize to 90%.
RR_Branches.
Resize to 65%.
RR_AppleBasket.
Resize to 35%.
RR_HeartSplatter.
Resize to 75%.
RR_CottagePlant
RR_Branches
Resized to 50%.
RR_Rose3.

Open RR_Rose2.
Resize 35%.
Flip Vertically.
Place directly under your tube in the layer palette.
Position it so it looks like she's holding the rose.

Place a Drop Shadow on everything except:
HeartSplatter
DarkCloud
Brad
Paper2
Paper4

Make a new layer on top of all layers.
Type the name you want in the font you want.
I used Black.
I also used Stroke, 3, Outside, ba0707.
Then I added a Drop Shadow.

MOST IMPORTANT!!
You must now do this:
Put the artist's name, website, and your license number
of the tube you used on the siggy!!
Add your name (ie: Designed by Your Name) behind this info.
Make sure this info is legible and clearly seen.

Save as PSD to maintain layers.
Then save as PNG, remembering to use a number behind your sig title.
YOU'RE DONE!!
I hope you had fun with this tut!
HUGS!

♥Tribute to Rieka♥

To honor Rieka and all she has blessed me with, I will be leaving all my tuts that I have written with her kits on my blog. They are not coming down. Even though her kits are no longer available, the tuts I wrote using them are my tribute to her. Hopefully, they will inspire you the way Rieka inspired me. Love You, Rieka! You'll be forever in my heart.♥

About Me

Savage
Hi Ya'll! I'm Savage and I'd like to welcome you to Redneck Tuts. These are not your ordinary tuts, as they are geared toward those of us that don't have "working knowledge" of Photoshop or PSP. My tuts are all done in PS. They are designed to show you different techniques that you may not know. I hope you learn something that you can use in your creations in the future. Please, just have fun and put your own spin on these tuts. Be original and shine! Love Ya! ♥
