SUPPLIES NEEDED
TUBE OF CHOICE: I used the awesome artwork of Edward Reed.
The tube I used came with a close up.
You must have a license to use his art.
You can find this art and get your license HERE.

SCRAPKIT:  Escape by Pimp'd Designz
You can find it HERE.

FONT OF CHOICE: I used:
Delilah for the name
Splendid ES for Sun Kissed

I used Photoshop for this tut.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
We'll be playing with Text Effects
and Blending Options in this tut.

Let's have some fun!
Open a canvas, transparent background, 650x650 pixels.

Open pd-water01.
Place in lower part of canvas, center.
Open pd-water02.
Center on top of water01.
Position a bit higher on canvas.
Open pd-sand01.
Place this behind both layers of water, center.

Open your tube and place where you like.

These next layers will go behind your tube, on top of water layers:
pd-net01
pd-cluster01
pd-starfish
pd-shell01
pd-shell02
pd-bottle
pd-sanddollar
To cover the bare breast:
I duplicated pd-shell01.
Reduced size to fit.
Set Opacity to 80%
(You'll find this in the upper right corner of your layer palette.)

Open pd-sun.
Place in upper left corner
allowing the sun rays to overlap your tube.
Open your close up tube.
Position where you like on top of sun.
With this layer highlighted
Right click this layer in the layer palette.
A window will pop up.
Click Blending Options.
Choose the settings I have below.
Then click OK.

Grab a soft edged eraser.

Erase your close up tube
where it overlaps your regular tube.

Open pd-water03.
Position where you like.

On top of all the layers,
Make a new layer.
Type your name in the font of your choice.
I used the eyedropper tool
and chose a color from my tube's hair.

Now for the Text Effects.
I used three different effects:
Bevel and Emboss
Stroke
Outerglow
We'll do these one at a time.

With your name latyer highlighted
Go up and click on Layer in your toolbar.
A drop down menu will appear.
Click Layer Style
then Bevel and Emboss.
Use the settings you see below.
Then click OK.

Still on your name layer
Go click Layer, Layer Style, Stroke
from your toolbar.
Choose the settings that show below.
Then click OK.

Now we'll add an Outerglow to your name.
With your name layer still highlighted
Go to Layer, Layer Style, Outerglow.
Use the settings I have below.
Then click OK.

Ok. So the “hard” work is done.
Now make another new layer.
Type the words Sun Kissed
and position this in the upper left corner.
We want this layer to have the same effects as the name layer.
Here's the super easy part.
Highlight your name layer.
Right click.
Select Copy Layer Style.
Now go highlight the Sun Kissed layer.
Right click.
Select Paste Layer Style.
Viola!
Wasn't that easy?

MOST IMPORTANT!!
You must now do this:
Put the artist's name, website, and your license number
of the tube you used on the siggy!!
Add your name (ie: Designed by Your Name) behind this info.
Make sure this info is legible and clearly seen.

Save as PSD to maintain layers.
Then save as PNG, remembering to use a number behind your sig title.
YOU'RE DONE!!
I hope you had fun with this tut!
HUGS!

♥Tribute to Rieka♥

To honor Rieka and all she has blessed me with, I will be leaving all my tuts that I have written with her kits on my blog. They are not coming down. Even though her kits are no longer available, the tuts I wrote using them are my tribute to her. Hopefully, they will inspire you the way Rieka inspired me. Love You, Rieka! You'll be forever in my heart.♥

Hi Ya'll! I'm Savage and I'd like to welcome you to Redneck Tuts. These are not your ordinary tuts, as they are geared toward those of us that don't have "working knowledge" of Photoshop or PSP. My tuts are all done in PS. They are designed to show you different techniques that you may not know. I hope you learn something that you can use in your creations in the future. Please, just have fun and put your own spin on these tuts. Be original and shine! Love Ya! ♥
