TUBE OF CHOICE: I used the fantastic artwork of Keith Garvey.
The tube I used came with 3 different sizes.
I used all three.
You must have a license to use his art.
You can find Keith's art and get your license HERE.

SCRAPKIT: Hot Kisses by Designs by Sarah
You can find it HERE.

FONT OF CHOICE: I used:
Name: Jellyka-Love and Passion
Wordart: Oh Crap!

I used Photoshop for this tut.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
In this tut we'll be playing with Noise.
We'll also learn how to make things swing.
If you don't wish to animate, just skip the steps marked *BLUE*
Use my tag as a guide for placement of elements.

Open a canvas 700x700 pixels.
Flood fill with the color of your choice.

Open pp1.
In upper right corner of your Layer Pallete
Set Opacity to 75%.
Center on canvas.
Grab a soft edged eraser.
Erase around the edges
to create a soft edge.

Open frame4.
Center on canvas.
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Hide layers 2 & 3.
Highlight your first layer.
Go to Filter in your tool bar.
Choose NOISE.
Select ADD NOISE.
Check the Uniform box.
Set the amount for 10.
Unhide and highlight your second layer.
Repeat the steps above but mark amount 15.
Unhide and highlight your third layer.
Again, Noise, Add Noise, Uniform, amount 20.*

Open bow6.
Resize to 50%.

Open heart3.
Resize to 40%.
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Repeat the steps above for Noise.
Use these settings:
Layer 1: Uniform, 20
Layer 2: Uniform, 23
Layer 3, Uniform, 26*

Open heart2.
Resize to 35%.
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Repeat steps for Noise.
Use these settings:
Layer 1: Uniform, 15
Layer 2: Uniform, 18
Layer 3: Uniform, 21*

Open heart3.
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Repeat Noise steps.
Use these settings:

Layer 2: Uniform, 29
Layer 3: Uniform, 31*

Open bird4.

Open birdcage1.
Resize to 75%.
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Again, repeat the steps for Noise.
Use these settings:
Layer 1: Uniform, 50
Layer 2: Uniform, 55
Layer 3: Uniform, 60*

Open corset.
Resize to 75%.
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Leave the first layer as is.
Hide the third layer.
Highlight the second layer.
Right click on the corset on the canvas.
In the new window, choose Rotate.
Tilt your corset just a bit to one side.
Use layer one for a guide when tilting.
That way, you can see how much tilt you have.
Go to the toolbar on the left side of your screen.
Click the arrow (move tool).
When a window comes up,
Click Apply.
Unhide and highlight your third layer.
Repeat these steps and tilt this layer.
You'll want to tilt it just a tad more than your second layer.*

I used these elements next:
kiss1, resize to 50%
Duplicate this layer.
kiss3, resize to 50%
bow2, resize to 50%
bow4, resize to 50%
cupcake2, resize to 75%
Open kiss2.

Open lipstick2.
Resize to 65%.

Open wire2.
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Follow the steps for Noise again.
Use these settings:
Layer 1: Uniform, 35
Layer 2: Uniform, 38
Layer 3: Uniform, 41*

Open hearts5.

Now for your Close Up tubes.
Open your CU tubes.
Place them under the first frame layer.
Position them where you want them.
You should have 3 layers of tubes here.
One for each square of the frame.
When you get them where you want them,
For each tube layer do this:
Highlight the first frame layer.
Grab your magic wand.
Click inside one square of the frame.
Highlight the tube layer for that square.
Go to Select in your toolbar.
Click Inverse.
Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Go back to Select.
Choose Deselect.
Repeat these steps for the other two tube layers.

Duplicate each CU tube layer.
Hide the second layers.
Doing this one at a time,
Highlight one tube layer that is visible.
Go to Image in your toolbar.
Then go to Adjustments.
Choose Black & White.
Use the default settings.
Click Ok.
Repeat this for the other two visible layers.

Unhide the second CU tube layers.
Again, do this one layer at a time.
Go to the upper left corner of your Layer Palette.
Click the drop down arrow next to the word Normal.
Choose Lighten.
Leave the Opacity set at 100%.
(Upper right corner of Layer Palette.)
Do this for the other two CU tube layers.

Place a drop shadow on all layers
except the CU tube layers.
Resize your siggy to your liking.

Make a new layer.
Using the font of your choice
Type:
kiss me long kiss me hard make it sweet
Rotate this 90% CCW (counter clockwise).
Place on left side of tag.
Place a stroke on this.
Stroke: Outside, 2, color fbabe2
Add a drop shadow.
Duplicate this layer.
Rotate 180 degrees.
Place this layer on the right side of tag.

If you like, you can move some of your kisses
on top of your wordart layer.

Make a new layer.
Type your name on the taggie.
I used Black.
Stroke 3, Outside, color fbabe2.
Place a drop shadow.

MOST IMPORTANT!!
You must now do this:
Put the artist's name, website, and your license number
of the tube you used on the siggy!!
Add your name (ie: Designed by Your Name) behind this info.
Make sure this info is legible and clearly seen.

If you don't want to animate, Save as PNG.
YOU'RE DONE!!
(If you want to maintain your layers
Always Save as PSD first.
Then you can save it as a PNG.
When doing both these steps
It is important to change the title of the tag.
Example:
When I Save as PSD,
I always name the tag what I want.
Then, when saving as a PNG,
I add the number 1 behind the name of the tag.
Like this:
Kiss Me Hard, Save as PSD
Kiss Me Hard1, Save as PNG
Otherwise, your PNG will overwrite your PSD
Merging your tag into one layer only.)

**TO ANIMATE**
Hide the second and third layers
of your duplicated layers
in the Layer Palette.
(Should be seven layers that are duplicated.)
Open the Animation Window.
Set the time for .2.
Show all visible layers in the first frame.
Click the square button, next to the trash can,
in the animation window.
This will duplicate the first animation frame.
Go over to your Layer Palette.
Hide the first layers of all duplicated layers.
Unhide the second layers.
Go back to the animation window.
Open a new animation frame.
Go to Layer Palette.
Hide all second layers of duplicated layers.
Unhide the third layers.
Now back to the animation window again.
Duplicate the second animation frame.
This will now be your third frame.
Move frame 4 in the animation window
over between frames 2 and 3.
Click Play.
If you like what you see...

Save as PSD. Then Save for Web & Devises.

YOU'RE DONE!
I hope you had fun with this tut
and that you can use the fading technique
in other taggies you create!
HUGS!

♥Tribute to Rieka♥

To honor Rieka and all she has blessed me with, I will be leaving all my tuts that I have written with her kits on my blog. They are not coming down. Even though her kits are no longer available, the tuts I wrote using them are my tribute to her. Hopefully, they will inspire you the way Rieka inspired me. Love You, Rieka! You'll be forever in my heart.♥

Hi Ya'll! I'm Savage and I'd like to welcome you to Redneck Tuts. These are not your ordinary tuts, as they are geared toward those of us that don't have "working knowledge" of Photoshop or PSP. My tuts are all done in PS. They are designed to show you different techniques that you may not know. I hope you learn something that you can use in your creations in the future. Please, just have fun and put your own spin on these tuts. Be original and shine! Love Ya! ♥
