SUPPLIES NEEDED

TUBE OF CHOICE: I used the fantastic artwork of
Elias Chatzoudis.
I used five different Elias tubes.
You must have a license to use this art.
You can find this art and get your license HERE.

SCRAPKIT: Wicked Way Collab.
This Collab is made up of five kits.
The one I used here is by
Designs by Sarah.
You can find it HERE.

FONT OF CHOICE: I used: the King and Queen font.

I used Photoshop for this tut.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
In this tut we'll be taking an element and making it bigger.
If you don't wish to animate, just skip the steps marked *BLUE*
Use my tag as a guide for placement of elements.

Open a canvas 700x700 pixels.
Flood fill with the color of your choice.

Open splatter1.
Resize to 50%.
Duplicate this layer twice.
Place each layer toward the corners.

Open splatter2.
Resize to 50%.
Duplicate this layer.
Place each layer toward top corners.

Open haunted house.
Center on tag.

Open bat.
Resize to 40%.

Open cauldron.
Resize to 50%.

Open your tubes.
Place them where you like.
I moved the cauldron behind
my center tube.
I also resized my tubes to fit.
Resized from 80-90%
depending on tube size.
I also used element “witch hat” from the kit
to accessorize one of the tubes.
It is sitting on her leg.
I resized that to 30% and
flipped it Horizontally.
Make sure four of the five tubes
are behind the green glow layers.

Open broken glass.
This should be on top of all other layers
except the name layer.

Place a drop shadow on all layers
except the splatter layers.

Resize the siggy to your liking.

Make a new layer.
Type your name on the taggie.
I used color f69408.
Stroke, Outside, 3, Black

MOST IMPORTANT!!
You must now do this:
Put the artist's name, website, and your license number
of the tube you used on the siggy!!
Add your name (ie: Designed by Your Name) behind this info.
Make sure this info is legible and clearly seen.

If you don't want to animate, Save as PNG.
YOU'RE DONE!!
(If you want to maintain your layers
Always Save as PSD first.
Then you can save it as a PNG.
When doing both these steps
It is important to change the title of the tag.
Example:
When I Save as PSD,
I always name the tag what I want.
Then, when saving as a PNG,
I add the number 1 behind the name of the tag.
Like this:
Witches Play Too, Save as PSD
Witches Play Too1, Save as PNG
Otherwise, your PNG will overwrite your PSD
Merging your tag into one layer only.)

*Getting Ready for Animation*
Ok. Let's get set up for animation.
As you can see on the tag
I used the green glow at the end of
my tube's wand to animate.
I only animated the green glow.
Highlight that tube layer.
Grab your magic wand.
Click on the green glow.
Go to Edit in your tool bar.
Click Copy.
Go to Edit again.
Click Paste.

Now you have a new layer.
Name this green glow1.
Highlight this layer.
Resize this to 125%.
Duplicate this layer.
Name the new layer green glow2.
Highlight green glow2.
Resize to 125%.
Duplicate this layer.
Name the new layer green glow3.
Highlight this layer.
Resize this to 125%.
Duplicate this layer.
Name new layer green glow4.

**TO ANIMATE**
You will have 22 animation frames.
In your Layer Palette,
Hide all layers except:
splatter layers
haunted house
bat
cauldron
your main tube

Open the Animation Window.
Set the time for .2.
Show all visible layers in the first frame.
Click the square button, next to the trash can,
in the animation window.
This will duplicate the first animation frame.
You now have two frames.

As we go along,
we will be making the new frames
one by one
after completing the previous frame.

Highlight the second animation frame.
Go over to your Layer Palette.
Unhide green glow1.

Now go back to your animation window.
Create frame 3.
Highlight frame 3.
In the Layer Palette,
Unhide green glow2.
You don't have to hide the previous green glow layers
for the animation frames.
When you add green glow layers on top of each other,
it enhances the effect in the end.

Go back to the animation window.
Make and highlight the fourth frame.
In the Layer Palette,
Unhide green glow3.

Frame five:
Unhide green glow4.
Frame six:
Unhide green glow5.
Frame seven:
Unhide green glow6.
Frame eight:

Frame nine:
Unhide green glow8.
Unhide one of your four other tubes.

Frame ten:
Unhide one of the three tubes hidden.
Highlight green glow8 layer in the Layer Palette.
Move it a little up and to the right.

Highlight Frame nine.
See those little squares next to your new layer icon
at the bottom of your animation window?
There's 5 little squares that flow diagonally down.
Hold your cursor over that for a second.
It should say Tweens Animation Frames.
Click it.
A little window will pop up.
Use these settings:

Click OK.

Now on to frame eleven.
Do nothing with your green glow layers.
You just set them with the Tween animation.
Unhide one more tube in the Layer Palette.
You should now have four tubes showing
including your main tube.
Unhide broken glass layer too.

Frame twelve:
All you are going to do on this frame is
add another tube.
All your tubes should now be showing.

Do nothing.
Keep everything just like in frame 12.

♥Tribute to Rieka♥

To honor Rieka and all she has blessed me with, I will be leaving all my tuts that I have written with her kits on my blog. They are not coming down. Even though her kits are no longer available, the tuts I wrote using them are my tribute to her. Hopefully, they will inspire you the way Rieka inspired me. Love You, Rieka! You'll be forever in my heart.♥
