Here's a new template with a twist!
I included some artists names and tube companies.
You can take your pick.
And!
If the artist you stalk is not included in this temp?
There's a layer titled Artist Name
that I kept in text form so you can add whoever you'd like!
The font I used is Clingy.
If you don't have it, you can snag it HERE.
♥I hope you have fun with this template!♥

SUPPLIES NEEDED

TUBE OF CHOICE: I used the beautiful artwork of
Alex Prihodko.
You must have a license to use his art.
You can find Alex's art and get your license HERE.

SCRAPKIT: Silver Bells by Black Widow Creationz.
You can find it HERE.

FONT OF CHOICE: I used Ville de Geneve ES.

I used Photoshop for this tut.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
In this tut we'll be creating glitter by playing with Noise.
If you don't wish to animate, just skip the steps marked *BLUE*
Use my tag as a guide for placement of elements.

Open a canvas 700x700 pixels.
Flood fill with the color of your choice.

Open EL15.
Place toward the upper left corner.
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Hide the second & third layers.*

Open EL35.
Center on canvas.

Open your tube.
Place your tube behind EL35.
Center it inside the flower frame.
Grab an eraser.
Erase all parts of your tube
that show outside the frame.
Now go to the upper right corner of your Layer Palette.
With your tube layer still highlighted,
Set the Opacity to 65%.

Use my tag as a guide for placing elements.
I used these:
EL18, resize to 80%
EL10
EL36
EL46, resize to 50%
EL2, resize to 50%
EL27
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Hide the second & third layers.*
EL43
*Duplicate this layer twice.
Hide the second & third layers.*

Place a Drop Shadow on all layers
except your tube layer.

Resize your siggy to your liking.

Make a new layer.
Type your name on the taggie.
I used color fa9ee1.
Stroke: Outside, 3, color fefafc.
I also used a drop shadow.

MOST IMPORTANT!!
You must now do this:
Put the artist's name, website, and your license number
of the tube you used on the siggy!!
Add your name (ie: Designed by Your Name) behind this info.
Make sure this info is legible and clearly seen.

If you don't want to animate, Save as PNG.
YOU'RE DONE!!
(If you want to maintain your layers
Always Save as PSD first.
Then you can save it as a PNG.
When doing both these steps
It is important to change the title of the tag.
Example:
When I Save as PSD,
I always name the tag what I want.
Then, when saving as a PNG,
I add the number 1 behind the name of the tag.
Like this:
Soft Winter, Save as PSD
Soft Winter1, Save as PNG
Otherwise, your PNG will overwrite your PSD
Merging your tag into one layer only.)

*GETTING READY TO ANIMATE*

For layers EL15, EL27, EL43
we will do the same steps.
The only thing that will change
is the amount of Noise for each layer.
Work on one element layer at a time.

EL15:
Hide layers 2 & 3.
Highlight your first layer.
Go to Filter in your tool bar.
Choose NOISE.
Select ADD NOISE.
Check:
Uniform box
Monochromatic box.
Set the amount for 12.
Unhide and highlight your second layer.
Repeat the steps above but mark amount 14.
Unhide and highlight your third layer.
Again, Noise, Add Noise:
Uniform, Monochromatic, amount 16.

EL27:
Repeat the above steps.
Layer 1: Amount 15
Layer 2: Amount 18
Layer 3: Amount 21

EL43:
Same as EL27.

**TO ANIMATE**
Hide the second and third layers
of your duplicated layers
in the Layer Palette.
(Should be five layers that are duplicated.)
Open the Animation Window.
Set the time for .2.
Show all visible layers in the first frame.
Click the square button, next to the trash can,
in the animation window.
This will duplicate the first animation frame.
Go over to your Layer Palette.
Hide the first layers of all duplicated layers.
Unhide the second layers.
Go back to the animation window.
Open a new animation frame.
Go to Layer Palette.
Hide all second layers of duplicated layers.
Unhide the third layers.
Now back to the animation window again.
Duplicate the second animation frame.
This will now be your third frame.
Move frame 4 in the animation window
over between frames 2 and 3.
(Just click it and hold your mouse down
while you drag the frame over.
Then let go of your mouse.)
Click Play.
If you like what you see...

Save as PSD. Then Save for Web & Devises.

YOU'RE DONE!
I hope you had fun with this tut
and that you can use this technique
in other taggies you create!
HUGS!

♥Tribute to Rieka♥

To honor Rieka and all she has blessed me with, I will be leaving all my tuts that I have written with her kits on my blog. They are not coming down. Even though her kits are no longer available, the tuts I wrote using them are my tribute to her. Hopefully, they will inspire you the way Rieka inspired me. Love You, Rieka! You'll be forever in my heart.♥

Hi Ya'll! I'm Savage and I'd like to welcome you to Redneck Tuts. These are not your ordinary tuts, as they are geared toward those of us that don't have "working knowledge" of Photoshop or PSP. My tuts are all done in PS. They are designed to show you different techniques that you may not know. I hope you learn something that you can use in your creations in the future. Please, just have fun and put your own spin on these tuts. Be original and shine! Love Ya! ♥
