TUBE OF CHOICE: I used the fantastic artwork of
Elias Chatzoudis.
You must have a license to use this art.
You can find this art and get your license HERE.

SCRAPKIT: Wicked Way Collab.
There are five kits in this Collab.
For this tut I'm using the one
by TK Designs.
You can find it HERE.

FONT OF CHOICE: I used Bleeding Freaks.
Wordart font: Unnamed Melody & Voodoo Doll.

I used Photoshop for this tut.
In this tut we'll be making the word WICKED flash
letter by letter then as a whole word.
If you don't wish to animate, just skip the steps marked *BLUE*
Use my tag as a guide for placement of elements.

Open a canvas 700x700 pixels.
Flood fill with the color of your choice.

Open scarypaper.
Go to the upper left corner of your Layer Palette.
Click the drop down arrow next to the word “Normal.”
In the drop down menu
Choose Luminosity.
Leave the Opacity set at 100%.
Grab a soft edged eraser.
Erase around the edges of scarypaper
to create a soft look.

Open numbersplat bg.
Resize to 50%.
Duplicate this layer.
I put Stroke on these two layers:
Outside, 1, White

Open green leaf, resize to 75%.
Duplicate this layer.

Open polkadot frame.
Resize to 90%.

Open your tube.
Place in center of frame.

Open purpleribbon.
Flip Vertically then Horizontally.

Open swirl black.

Open wicked green.
*Duplicate this layer five times.
I suggest you name these layers like this:
Layer 1: w
Layer 2: wi
Layer 3: wic
Layer 4: wick
Layer 5: wicke
Layer 6: wicked*

Place a drop shadow on all layers except:
all the wicked layers
black swirl

Resize your siggy to your liking.

Make a new layer.
Type your name.
I used Black.
Stroke: Outside, 3, color 78ba23.
I also used:
Bevel & Emboss
Outer Glow
Drop Shadow

Bevel & Emboss settings:

Click OK.

Outer Glow settings:

Click Ok.

Drop Shadow settings:

Click OK.

Make another new layer.
Using the font Unnamed Melody,
Type the words:
Doesn't even BEGIN to cover it...
Now highlight only the word BEGIN
in your wordart text.
Go up and change the font to Voodoo Doll.
I used the same effects for this as I did for the name.
Outer Glow
Drop Shadow
I did not use Bevel & Emboss.

You must now do this:
Put the artist's name, website, and your license number
of the tube you used on the siggy!!
Add your name (ie: Designed by Your Name) behind this info.
Make sure this info is legible and clearly seen.

If you don't want to animate, Save as PNG.
(If you want to maintain your layers
Always Save as PSD first.
Then you can save it as a PNG.
When doing both these steps
It is important to change the title of the tag.
When I Save as PSD,
I always name the tag what I want.
Then, when saving as a PNG,
I add the number 1 behind the name of the tag.
Like this:
W.I.C.K.E.D., Save as PSD
W.IC.K.E.D.1, Save as PNG
Otherwise, your PNG will overwrite your PSD
Merging your tag into one layer only.)

Hide all your WICKED layers
except layer w.
Highlight this layer.
Grab an eraser.
Erase all of this word except the first letter, W.
Hide this layer.
Unhide and highlight layer wi.
Erase all this layer except the letters WI.
Hide this layer.
Unhide and highlight layer wic.
Erase all this layer except the letters WIC.
Hide this layer.
Unhide and highlight layer wick.
Erase the ED on this layer.
Hide this layer.
Unhide and highlight layer wicke.
Erase the letter D on this layer.
Leave wicked layer spelled out completely.
Now let's animate!

We will have 11 frames of animation.
The time will vary on some frames.
Open your animation window.
Set the time for .2.
Use this time for frames 1-5.
For the first frame of animation,
show all layers of your taggie except for:
layers wi-wicked.
Click the square button, next to the trash can,
in the animation window.
This will duplicate the first animation frame.
You will now have frames 1 & 2.

Highlight frame 2 in the animation window.
Now go over to your Layer Palette.
Hide layer w.
Show layer wi.

Now go back to your animation window.
Make a new frame.
Frame 3:
In Layer Palette, hide wi.
Show layer wic.

Frame Four:
In Layer Palette, hide wic.
Show layer wick.

Frame Five:
Layer Palette, hide wic.
Show wicke.

Frame Six:

Frame Nine:

Frame Ten:

If you like what you see...

I hope you had fun with this tut
and that you can use this
in other taggies you create!

♥Tribute to Rieka♥

To honor Rieka and all she has blessed me with, I will be leaving all my tuts that I have written with her kits on my blog. They are not coming down. Even though her kits are no longer available, the tuts I wrote using them are my tribute to her. Hopefully, they will inspire you the way Rieka inspired me. Love You, Rieka! You'll be forever in my heart.♥

Please, just have fun and put your own spin on these tuts. Be original and shine! Love Ya! ♥
